IMAP Email Setup / Configuration

AUTOMATIC EMAIL INSTALLATION FOR OUTLOOK / OUTLOOK EXPRESS / MAC MAIL

1.  Login to the Control Panel http://www.yourdomain.com.au/cpanel
2.  Click Email Accounts
3.  Find your email address in the list (or create one)
4.  Click More -> Configure Email Client
5.  Select your Mail program for IMAP Access (you may also use POP3 if so required)

you can also use the settings below to manually configure your mail client:

Secure SSL/TLS Settings (Recommended)

Username: yourusername@yourdomain   ( eg. example@futureithosting.com.au)
Password: Use the email account’s password.

Incoming Server: mail.<yourdomain.com.au>

  • IMAP Port: 993
  • POP3 Port: 995

Outgoing Server: mail.<yourdomain.com.au>

  • SMTP Port: 465


Set Root Folder Path: Inbox

Authentication is required for IMAP, POP3, and SMTP.

Non-SSL Settings (This is NOT recommended.)

Username: yourusername@yourdomain   eg. example@futureithosting.com.au
Password: Use the email account’s password.

Incoming Server: mail.<yourdomain.com.au>

  • IMAP Port: 143
  • POP3 Port: 110

Outgoing Server: mail.<yourdomain.com.au>

  • SMTP Port: 25


Set Root Folder Path: Inbox

Authentication is required for IMAP, POP3, and SMTP.
